Service Description

Yoga nidra is a powerful practice to incorporate into your pregnancy journey. Yoga nidra, meaning “yogic sleep,” is a somatic healing ​practice to promote deep relaxation while remaining ​conscious and aware. This practice can improve sleep, reduce stress relief, ease the mind, and strengthen the bond between mother and baby during pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum. In this special workshop, we will begin with gentle somatic movement+breathing. We will then move into a fully supported posture to settle into the yoga nidra practice. Through deep guided meditation, you will move into a healing space to experience rest and relaxation. Join this workshop for nourishing self care or bring your partner or doula for a connected experience. No experience necessary to attend this workshop. Kelsy Addington is a yoga teacher with somatic healing certification, meditation guide, and men’s health educator. Kelsy discovered yoga nidra at Home Holistic several years ago for anxiety relief. In 2020, Kelsy began certification to teach Yoga Nidra. Working with several expecting moms at Home Holistic, Kelsy has seen the calm effect this practice brings to this beautiful season of life for mom and baby. August 4th 7P-8:15P Cost $22
