Service Description

The Connected Touch Workshop: A new parent's guide to soothing, security, sleep, and smiles for their little one. Led by Erika Moss, PT, DPT, CEIM This course offers significant insight into building trust, security, bonding and attachment between a parent and their sweet baby. Taught by an experienced pediatric physical therapist and certified infant massage instructor, this course combines a clinical perspective with an emphasis on loving, connected touch through infant massage to help new parents build positive relationships with their infants from the start. Together, we will learn how to use infant massage, connected touch, and positioning to relieve gas pains, colic and teething discomfort, improve circulation and sensory processing, aid the suck/swallow reflex and lactation, decrease congestion, relax muscles; and lower overall body tension, among many other benefits. Each session will focus on a different area of the body, building upon skills and techniques over four weeks. Ideal for ages 0-12 months and their caregivers. Bring: your sweet baby, yoga mat or towel, and a small amount of the oil or lotion of your choosing (natural, unscented, and edible such as sunflower oil, coconut oil, avocado oil, sesame oil, etc.) Cost: $100 per family for the four-part series. Monday, April 20th, April 27th, May 4th, and May 11th at 10am Bio About the Instructor: Erika Moss, PT, DPT, CEIM is a Doctor of Physical Therapy specializing in infancy, newborn tension, muscle imbalance, head flattening, and developmental milestones.
